Self Promotion Project DONE!
Here's my Self-Promotional magazine FINALLY finished! Starting with the front cover, I photographed my beautiful friends, (who luckily are an actual couple so these poses are very natural!). This cover was inspired by the ID cover shown on the moodboard above.
Inside the mini-magazine is a free business card, which is of course my business card; for this I used Vicki's lips and boosted the contrast/brightness right up. I had initially wanted to use a lot of different peoples lips, but during editing there was no real fluency so I decided to stick with different expressions on the same lips.
Next I have included my CV, and I know its cringey to include a photo of myself, but it's supposed to be in the style of a magazine so I did anyway...then finally I've included a magazine-style trends page, ooh and the back cover is a second photograph of my lovely models, I really liked the way I've caught them in a natural pose...you can see the lurrrve!
Lets hope my work goes down well with the lecturers! x

Something to tick of the loooong list
Just finished my response to the brief I was given to promote the collaboration of Dr Martens and Cath Kidston...
At the top are my mood boards; the first one is to outline the target consumer of the new range, and the second gives an idea of the what the style of the lookbook for the collection would be like. I've of course chosen Miss Daisy Lowe as the model as she currently works with Dr Martens and I think she would be perfect for the range as she evokes femininity with a nice touch of rebellion!
The presentations tomorrow, lets hope they like my ideas!

Oh, one last thaang...
This woman is a goddess, wonder what it must feel like to be THAT beautiful? And to be Jay-Z's wifey...goodnight x
I really want some Dr Martens
I got given a brief today for a collaboration between Dr Martens and Cath Kidston, just finished writing up the script for my presentation and although its taken me approximately 10 hours sat awkwardly on the Nottingham's shitest chair I'm actually rather enjoying myself! My boyfriend just sent me a text stating that Dr Martens are 'Lesbian gear' but his favourite shop is TK Maxx...
Anyways it must be time to hit the sheets as I've got another fun-filled day of yet more coursework to look forward to tomorrow. Ciao x

Attempting to gather inspiration...
For my self -promotion project at uni Im planning to create a CV in a fashion magazine layout. SOMEHOW I want to include a fashion shoot and I love the style of these images. I've got less than a month to plan and produce the whole darn thing, as well as the mountain of other work weve been set...help!

Vivienne does wallpaper...
Heritage interior designers Cole and Sons have taken some of Vivienne Westwoods signiture prints such as the Union Jack and the lace print from the I am Expensiv collection; translating them into wallpaper designs. Some of the prints are rather lovely! Here are my preferred prints:
